How Claims Work
In the unlikely event that something is damaged or lost during your move, our claims process is straightforward:
- Report the issue — Notify us in writing within 9 months of delivery. We provide a simple online claims form.
- Documentation — Provide photos of any damage, along with a description and estimated value of the item.
- Review — Our claims team reviews your submission within 30 days and will contact you with a resolution.
- Resolution — Depending on your coverage level, we will repair the item, provide a replacement, or issue a reimbursement.
What's Covered
- Damage caused during loading, transport, or unloading by our crew.
- Loss of items that were inventoried at pickup but not delivered.
- Damage to items packed by our professional packing team.
What's Not Covered
Items packed by the customer (owner-packed boxes) are not covered for damage to contents unless external damage to the box is evident.
- Pre-existing damage or wear.
- Items of extraordinary value not declared before the move (jewelry, collectibles, artwork over $5,000).
- Damage caused by natural disasters, acts of God, or events beyond our control.
- Prohibited items (see our Terms of Service).
